Case Study: How we brought 100,000 visitors to a small-town tyre service?
A small-town tyre service that contacted us not so long ago for cooperation. We saw the enormous progress they had made over the past period, which is how our article came about. According to their experience, the virtual tour radically increased the number of private individuals and companies visiting the site, but also led to more phone calls and increased website traffic. We are proud of our partner, Kiss Gumi, as they achieved this result in six months. We spoke with Ádám Kiss, the company’s representative, about the twenty-year-old company and recent events.
What is a virtual tour?
With a virtual tour, you can practically let anyone into your business online. This means that interested parties can look around your premises while sitting in front of a computer or holding a phone, without ever having crossed the threshold. They can see the atmosphere, check out the furnishings, the layout, the style. They can find out if there is a waiting room, a coffee machine, and how much space there is.

What happened in the case of Kiss Gumi?
Kiss Gumi is a tyre service in Maglód, operating since 1997. In addition to selling and servicing tyres, they also deal with agricultural machinery and mobile tyre services, and they also operate a webshop. They have an online presence, which they wanted to increase. Six months ago, they contacted us through a recommendation, wanting to increase the traffic of both the shop and the online store. “We thought introducing a virtual tour was a good idea because it allows people to see what the workshop looks like and we can show that we work in a sufficiently large area.” – says Ádám Kiss, internet sales representative. “After the online platforms took off, not only did the work increase, but there were times of the year when we couldn’t even take on all orders. In the past year, for example, we received 10,000 orders just through the webshop.” This is a big deal, because there are a large number of competing companies online, with whom there is constant competition.
In one year, not only did the number of online orders increase, but also the number of personal visitors drastically, which was greatly contributed to by the virtual tour showcasing our company. We tracked the number of views weekly, which has long exceeded 100,000 views. Of course, in addition to the virtual tour, the business also has a continuously updated website, a Facebook page, and is registered in the Google My Business system.
The conscious, combined use of these marketing tools led to success.
The business has big plans for the future, they want to automate more processes so that a little weight can be taken off the shoulders of colleagues and they can satisfy the needs of even more customers.
